Change of Scenery...

It's the holiday season and it's 80 degrees here in So Cal... not exactly warm, cozy, by the fire weather... in search of some snow... I found this place...
To tell you the truth... I really don't care for cold weather... but hubby loves to ski... so there he goes...I like the beauty of this resort and the idea of lounging and looking out at the snow...
And I will be perfectly happy to sit here... yes... that's me with my incognito burnette wig... I also borrowed someone else's figure... LOL!

Perhaps hubby can join me later to warm up with a hot toddy! Who knows maybe he will even take me out dancing! Speaking of dancing... this weekend will be filled with Dirty Dancing... grab your dancing shoes and pop over tomorrow!

(Photos via Grandin Road or Frontgate... they get me confused)

80 degrees and not exactly warm? ... it's 32 degrees here in London where I am for the weekend . what would you call that?

Don't think I would make it to the pool but I would slide down a slope or two and then come in to enjoy a hot toddy

LOL. My husband is wanting to get to Big Bear or Mammoth for some snow. I say, how about we just BBQ on the beach? :) It always works.

I think we are going to be seeing a lot of this white stuff around our area soon if the weather men are right. burrr. I will trade you your 80 degrees. :))
But a nice fire and place to hang out at does make it much nicer to be in the cold. I will keep this vision in mind. :)

yum!!! I'm not a snow person either though. Beautiful resort. And a weekend of dirty dancing - no one puts baby in the corner! (sorry I had to say it) You should complete the weekend by having 50's type food and cocktails. Maybe even fondue.

Oh that reminded me of my much missed Park City Utah...or the fun times in Aspen! I hate snow too...but I love me some lodge lounging! Have a great day!

I'm with you on this one, Fifi. I'm not a snow person "at all". Give me warm, sunny days but please no snow.

We are going to o to the snow this weekend if He-weasel is feeling well enough. I need some real weather and a hot toddy would be nice too.

Laughing at your post this morning dear Fifi! I don't know about you but I think my sultry, seductive persona may have departed some time ago, with not much chance of a returning!

Looks like it's a fun place, but I'm a bit tired of the snow and cold already! Although I suppose if hot toddies were readily available, I might change my mind :)

And this is for you :)

I have been enjoying this beautiful california sunshine all week, flying back to 30 degree weather tomorrow and all the snow in chicago!
I am all about the hot toddies, spiced wine and coco!
