Around the World...

Thank you Tracey of I am Me your RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS... Tracey asked me if she could send me a present... HELLO... who's going to say no to a present... and what is soooo special about it... Tracey went out shopping just for me... and found items that are soooo Fifi... look how cute... Paris address book, Paris journal and Breakfast at Tiffany's note cards... MERCI BEAUCOUP, TRACEY... YOU gave me an idea for our travels today... Let's go see some Tiffany & Co stores around the world...
Of course... we must start at the Famous Tiffany & Co. on Fifth Ave in New York City... coffee & pastry stop and then off to... Melbourne, Australia... Brazil... keep up... Tracey, how many little blue bags do you have? I hope customs let's you through...
Milano... let's have some pasta and gelato... what is your favorite flavor? I like something with chocolat, almonds and coffee!
Look at this great old building in London... my plan was to paint this building, but I ran out of time... I will revisit it when we pop over for a longer visit to England... ok... off we go again...
Wow... palm trees... it's like a little grass shack in Hawaii... I don't know about you but that's all the traveling I can handle for today... I'm booking a room here... The Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki Beach... beautiful and historical... it is a MUST see hotel... I stay here for a week when I graduated from high school... I would go back in a heartbeat!
Currently, it is being revamped and will open January 2009... so if you don't mind a little noise we can get a respectable room rate... Let's hit the beach and relax on a chaise... HELLO Beach boy... libations for Tracey and all my friends, please! What about some dinner with a view... is Diamond Head not spectacular! Hula dancers... what is Hawaii with hula dancers! Where is Tracey... oooh... I think she's putting on a grass skirt and joining the dancers! FUN FUN!

Oh look... we just received a postcard from Amy of Bumpy Doink... she's inviting us over to Maui to visit the botanical gardens... well... if you're interested in a tour... pop over and take a tour! As for me, I visited it many years ago... beautiful place... so you go ahead and I'm heading back to those chaise lounges... ALOHA Tracey and friends, see you Monday!

I love Hawaii. We went two/three times - many years ago. Perfect weather for someone who does not like very hot weather, beautiful beaches, magic landscape, and of course, the Royal Hawaii Hotel.

Hi Fifi, yes it is marvellous how pictures may sweep you off your feet. Putting them toghether in different perspectives even give them greater opportunities, one's mind and taste will never be the same, but sharing them is great....thanks Ingela

Love the French Kitty! Finally, my husband and I decided where to hang the painting we bought. We love it, Fifi! And, we hum the "wedding samba" from the movie everytime we pass it!

The hula dancers are great!

Such a fun idea to see all the Tiffany's around the world, and really like all the touches of pink in this series of paintings.

Good morning Fifi :)

What a sweet thing for Tracy to do!! It's so amazing how nice everyone in blogland is.

I've only been to the Tiffany & Co in NY. The one in Hawaii is so odd looking, isn't it?

Love those paintings as always :)

hugs,
