Pretty Prep for Holiday...

"Girlee Bath for Daisy" painted by moi in honour of Daisy Pink Cupcake... she was searching for the right painting for her newly revamped bathroom and I came up with this...

7 x 7 original acrylic on archival paper... matted and framed on sale in MY ETSY STORE

And to tie this in with my Interior Design... I have been working on a bathroom remodel project for a client... searching through books I have found many different styles... for this post I selected romantic/feminine...

New Country Style by Country Home...Art of Accessorizing by Christi Carter...
French Country by Buchholz and Skolnik...
French Influence by Betty Lou Phillips...

Lovely bathrooms to get ready for parties, wedding, dates, galas, etc... Those of you not in the USA, what are you doing to get ready for the weekend? USA, what are you doing to get ready for the 4th of July... Pedicured toes with painted on fireworks? Red, white and blue fingernails? Fun new hairdo? New swimsuit... sandals... sundress?

Something must be in the air because this coming Monday I am also revamping my upstairs bathroom. The kiddo's will be off to VBS and I will have 3 hours each day with just the baby at home. I am doing a black & white French Parisian hotel theme and have not decided what color to add (in small doses) to make a POP! Pink is now on my list of possibilities!

Thanks FiFi- you are the best! I love this photo so much! I still haven't gotten around to painting it. I am going to have to take this photo to put in my inspiration file. Have a nice day and thank you so much for everything! Daisy~

I love the painting and the feminine style.
All the bathrooms you've shown, I absolutely love.
Now, I think in a few minutes, I shall give myself a pedicure with some pale pink nail polish (that's all I have in the house at the moment).
Happy 4th to you!
