Just Riding Along...

On bikes from different blogs... via Flowers Brazil

via Shorehouse Chic... she liked one of my bicycle paintings and I liked one of her bicycle photos... PAINTING IS SOLD to Laura of Shorehouse Chic!

via My Notting Hill from the streets of Paris

This is my own bike... Santa brought it to me in 2002... it resides in my garage... I never ride it... and it has the cutest basket and bell on it (this is the original photo of it sans accessories)... Do you have an adorable bicycle sitting sadly waiting to be riden? Remember learning to ride your first two-wheeler bicycle?

All Paintings are Available... email me

I love your bicycle paintings. They are so charming in scenes. I have an old white huffy bicycle and I never ride it either. But I cant part with it.
These are wonderful paintings.
Have you seen the movie, RETURN TO ME..? The female character rode a cool old bike and did acrylic paintings and had a cool patio garden of just potted plants. Very charming. These paintings remind me of that movie. A favorite on mine:)

Great themed post . . . you have a wonderful way of making your posts interactive! I totally remember learning to ride my first 2-wheeler -- a banana seat bike in kindergarten :)

Funny how artists are inspired by similar things that certainly speak to the Summer season and free-wheeling! Working on my bike series!

Hi Fifi! Love your shiny bike. I have two bikes sitting in the garage but I'm afraid to sit on them and ride. There is something about the image of my butt hanging off the sides of that tiny seat that I just can't get motivated to ride it!lol Anyway I wanted to let you know I just placed an order with you and since it's my first time I hope I did it right and you get it. Looking forward to receiving (and maybe keeping for myself!) Have a great day - Jeannette

Re comment on my blog...How funny, I watched that movie the other day too. I hope you do paint those scenes. They would be perfect in your style done by you.

I love them all!

I have a bike but it's vintage one I purchased, it's propped up against our huge pine with flowers and is too old to hide (at least that's my excuse). Love your bike, you should ride it - like maybe next Bastille Day? That's when my neighbor rides her bike - to get baguettes!

I'm off to look at your etsy store now. These bikes are over the Moon!

I still remember my darling Dad holding my new bike steady for hours, as I wobbled around trying to get the hang of it. And his wonderful holler of pride as his 7year old princess finally managed to ride off down our street unaided. Hadn't thought about that in years dear Fifi - thanks for letting me remember such a lovely moment!

That red bike of your is so lovely ;]
well, my second bike gets neglected a bit and resides on my bike wall mount. It has no basket and it's a bit faster for my daily mellow riding.
Loving these ones -
ps. ive linked u to my pretty blogs list!
