These are beautiful, Fifi.

We have a 1920's carousel in St Louis, at Faust Park. My grandchildren have ridden that one.

There is something magical about a carousel, whether you are a child or an adult. They can transport you back in time as well I think.

Your paintings are wonderful. I like all of the lively colors, it's a nice change from the usual pastel colored carousels.

What a divine post !!!!

I have such a passion for carousels myself. Some of my most precious photos are of my kids when they were younger riding a carousel horse. My oldest daughter collects anything French and has a picture of the carousel in Paris in her bedroom. Next March she'll get to ride it for the first time when she travels to France ! Wish I was going with her.

So happy I inspired you ! I love painting carousels too ....you did a "magnifique" job on yours !!

Maybe I should finish my carousel painting - I only started it 5 years ago LOL If I get brave maybe I'll share mine.

Thanks so much for sharing !

Cheers and " A la prochaine !"
