Oh, dearest Fifi:

Did you plan this party especially for me? It certainly seems that way what with the Castle setting and all the lovely jewels spilled about the place for the taking...err..I meant for the trying on, of course! My early arrival found me just in time for your lovely breakfast of pasties and creme coffee. You know how I love a little Danish whether it be the human type or the breakfasting type...although sometimes they can one in the same. How sensational is that!

I early arrival also allowed me to lay claim to the loveliest of rooms and as always, Fifi, your accomodations were most excellent, indeed. And who knew the Castle would have room service, as well? That evening a lovely man dressed in a very HOT chef outfit delivered my bedtime mint in person and carefully laid it on my pillow before turning down the...oh, maybe that wasn't on the list of services and I should not speak of it. Your other guests might become jealous and I wouldn't want to create a situation of any kind for you. His meat balls were delicious.

This party appeared on my social calendar just in time, Fifi! I was growing a wee bit restless with my social engagements and many commitments to the arts. There's only so much good one person can do and then she must play. I'm sure you know this to be true as your name has been linked to great acts of service for those of lesser standing.

Sincerely,

Petunia who is again eagerly awaiting the postman who will undoubtedly be delivering your next invitation at any time.

Hi Fifi, I am crazy about your black and white striped chair. And the carrot cake looks to die for !

Dearest Fifi:

One more thing I think might be of importance for you to know. If you are hearing disturbing noises of any kind, please do not fear the Castle is haunted. I believe Violet may or may not have been locked in the bell tower. I suppose she's in need of sustenance by now so maybe one of the grounds workers could check in on her status.

Sincerely,

Petunia who really has no idea how the door locked behind Violet and thinks maybe it was Renae.

I really do like the castle painting. Saw lots of neat castles on a Rhine River cruise a couple of years ago, and I've always wanted to stay in one.

What a fun--and tasty!--post. I love carrot cake, but no one else in my family will eat it, so I don't make it very often. That picture made my mouth water. Yum.

Oh, and yes, we will be having Hooked on Fridays tomorrow! Hope you'll join us! :-)

Dear Princess Fifi, I am new in the area and I in fact did not receive an invitation(sorry I am crashing your party but I could not resist.) I have always wanted to be on the inside of such a beautiful affair, so I crashed...oops. What a terrible faux pas, I know but who can blame me. I am completely enamoured with all things Fifi Flowers at this moment. I want to say everything is marvelous! You sure know how to throw a party, and your guests well they are divine. I will go now before the clock strikes
12:00. One more thing before I go...can I please have some cake?

Yours truly,

Charlie
