Fifi Flowers' "Delighting Others via Design"...

Soooo... here is my project... I am HOOKED ON transform this room for some deserving people with a 500.00 budget... thus giving them a BEAUTIFUL LIFE... This room will be transformed into something like this quick sketch by moi...
And to achieve this... today the shopping began...
Moulding to accent the wall the bed will be on... medallion for the chandelier...
Chandelier ordered...More ornate moulding...
Two fun lamps... a candleabra... a few things you will see later that are in the bags on top of the one of the two great nightstands that will be transformed... with inspiration from these two pieces of furniture...

Colour palette ideas...

Choosing paint...Paint in a bucket and birdcage... getting READY to transform!!!Next up... an ornate headboard is built from a wood dining room tabletop and a couple table legs... a large picture frame is enhanced and becomes a beautiful mirror... and more shopping... check back! I will be sharing the FINISHED PROJECT!

BUT the best part of this whole project is surprising two deserving people!!! These are TOTAL STRANGERS to me! I learned about them through a friend.

Pop over to HOOKED ON HOUSES and THE INSPIRED ROOM... See what others are Hooked on to Acheive a Beautiful Life!

Oh this is fun. I love decorating projects. I am hooked on HGTV for that reason. :)
I am interested in the furniture you are going to inhance as I have been wanting to do a hutch in my sunroom with some sort of design.. Like a Mackenzie-Childs design type thing. Look forward to more of this.

You are a Design On A Dime lady! I love the ideas on that show. I can't wait to see more of what you're doing. Maybe you'd like to make me a dining table from an old door and find me some mixed/chairs to go with?

This project will definitely be revealed when FINISHED! You may even see some little hints along the way!
I'm the Design on a NICKEL girl! I only received a donation of 500.00 from an anonymous person to complete the job.
Door into a table... mixed chairs... SURE!

A very kind and wonderful gesture indeed.

Perhaps this good deed will help to bring good luck to some fisherman that you might know.

Cheers to Fifi!
