Researching Landscape Design

Having fun writing about a female character who is a landscape designer… Magnolia Bellesol… so I looked to the internet for landscape design plans I think she would draw while sitting at her drafting table in her converted carriage garage…

When I did my own landscape design project, I only used a drafting pencil—no color—but if I had, I imagine using colored pencils and some watercolor paints.

My Own Little World

LOVE seeing my books in printed paperbacks… there are a few more not pictured… Andddd… they all contain made-up characters (of course), companies, celebrities/famous people, products (too many to list), restaurants including food delivering via CuisineCab—I made up that name during the lockdown period when we would deliver meals to my mother, I even started my own Butler Communications company with its own social media apps and podcasts: On the SEEN, EyeSpied Gossip Rag and television networks: Liquid Rush TV, VueTV, DesignTV, CuisineNetwork… and I started an online website FashionistaForward.com that you can visit and read posts by more of my made-up characters; Frank Fashion is probably the most famous contributor as he is in many of my books…

It’s a LOT of work creating my OWN LITTLE WORLD but I absolutely ADORE it!!! You can read more about all of these books and find links below…

Fifi Flowers Contemporary Books

I do write romance into my books with non-graphic Fade-to-Black intimate scenes but I also write stories about people’s lives that aren’t always filled with romance…family sagas, suspense, friendships, women’s issues, etc so I’m not sure my books fit into the typical romance genre… Andddddd recently, I have been working on what some might call a paranormal romance or magical realism romance; I’m not sure how to label it.

That’s what I call author life/author problems…

But, again, I LOVE writing!!!
