Paper to Canvas...

Working on turning several of my ORIGINAL ACRYLIC paintings on paper... into ACRYLIC paintings on canvas... the beginning of transforming the above paper painting... first I draw the painting on canvas... then here I start with BLUE...
dark grey...
various colours...
black...
and black outlining and details complete the painting...
and here are some more of my paintings on 16" x 20" canvases...

I had a FABULOUS week-end painting these canvases!!! I can't wait to create more this week... off I go to paint PARIS next on canvas... and off YOU must go to visit to see more creativity via Metamorphosis Monday posts over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch... and BLUE posts via Smiling Sal's!

Come back and visit throughout the week... ENJOY!

Wonderful!~ Your work reminds me of a time when I had my kitchen very paris, chic cafe style. I have since moved and my home is a little more rustic with a modern twist...I miss this style though, it is timeless and so charming!

Fifi, How interesting to what a painting of yours come alive with such beautiful colors. If we ever get our lake house just right, I would love for you to do a painting of it...it may take a while, we are having to redo the yard.
