Use Life to Tell Stories

I prefer to write romance book storylines about things I know from experience—not talking about the romance/romantic parts—but occupations, places, etc. Recently, I have started writing again and I’m attempting to finish some of my standalone series books. My goal is to finish the next book in the series: maybe it’s book two or book four. In doing so, I am currently back in Sierra Madre, California where my characters are from or live. It’s a charming little city… of course my characters and locations are not real… HOWEVER, once upon a time I exhibited in a shop that sadly no longer exists… but that experience and my artist life can found in my books…

Restructuring Romance Books

Some readers may be opposed to me reworking my contemporary romance books but I need to be happy with what I publish… sooooo I have been going through my romance books and editing out graphic move by move sex… still a hint of intimate moments…readers will have use their imagination… Still the same stories… still the same great characters… 

So far I have reworked three of my books… starting with the first book I published A Window to Love… it was my first attempt to write VERY steamy romance… removing the many graphic sex scenes, it has gone from an X rating to a PG-13… lol… the love story between Evan and Melissa is still a charming, swoonworthy… heartwarming Holiday book… AVAILABLE HERE

Another heartwarming Holiday book reworked is Love Me Now… this story will have you routing for the characters, Nick and Victoria, to find each… laughter… tears…  smiles… swoons… great story minus graphic steaminess… give it a try… AVAILABLE HERE

With another HEART series book (containing no graphic sex) about to release in February, I decided to rework the first book to the standalone series… another great second chance romance story featuring two lovable characters: Hadley and Gerard… their book Clashing Hearts will capture your heart… AVAILABLE HERE 

Publishing a NEW book in my standalone series FOOLISH HEARTS on December 29th… I am currently reworking the first three in the series… NO MORE steamy X or R rated romance books written by me, Fifi Flowers… Great Stories that will make you laugh - smile - swoon!!!

Always Learning

In an author’s life books must be formatted in order for them to be uploaded as ebooks online and to be made into paperbacks—that is another story—I only learned how to do ebook formatting… and I’m getting the hang of it…

Being able to format my own books has been very beneficial for me since I’ve decided to rework all of my older contemporary romance book into PG-13 versions… and going forward my NEW books will be written in the same genre… Happily Ever After stories to make you laugh . smile . swoon!!!
