In need of some Chocolat...

Above the river... a village sits on a hill... Look at some of the beautiful architecture...
The village is filled with lovely homes
In the middle sits a town square for gathering... festivals... carnivals... FUN... Ooh la la... what is that I see... a Chocolaterie...

Let's go inside... yum... it smells so sweet and rich and delicious... Aah... a chocolate bar... shall we sit and sample some delights and spicy hot chocolat...

I gathered some wonderful treats and recipes... let's head over here... it's all set up for a party... I want to share some food... wine... good conversation... "The Chocolat Birthday Party" painting below is SOLD!Who knows... maybe some pirates will show up and entertain us... I saw Johnny's boat down on the river!

Ooh la la.. as you would say. THESE ARE PERFECT. I am transported to the hill top town in a few paintings. I love them all. You really do need to do a blurb book or any kind of book.
Excuse me now, I need to go visit that Chocolaterie & get my favorite.:)

I love the movie "Chocolat"...the soundtrack is the best ever! Have you read the book or seen the movie, "Like Water for Chocolate"? Fabulous story set in Mexico, long ago.

These lovely paintings make me want to see the movie again. I loved it when it came out.

Also have to tell you I watched "A Good Year" for the first time last night since you mentioned it was one of your favorites, and I really enjoyed it. What a feast for the eyes. Made me want to pack up and move to France immediately, scorpions and all! -Julia :-)

I got introduced to your work via Jude's site. I saw the painting of her blue room and instantly loved your work. I may be asking you to do a commissino for me in the near future.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I have posted a pic of me taken today so you can tell me if you like the haircut I am thinking of having done. Hey, I stopped by the library yesterday and got a photo book on Paris and two books on how to improve my french. I smiled when I saw your profile pic of the Eiffel Tower.

Oh Fifi,
I love all of these, they are all in my colours! I especially am in love with the last work of art where they have the party! I take a few days off & I miss all this beauty.
