I keep finding my Fifi Flowers artwork all over the internet... recently tumblr... it sure would be NICE if my name was actually credited to my artwork... It has been reblogged by several people and NO mention of Fifi Flowers... AWFUL... SAD!!!! Like this site...
http://tessennliz.tumblr.com/post/8267222759 and SEVERAL people reblogged my artwork from this site... This is the most RECENT artwork that I have found out on the internet...
These are two version of the same artwork...
it was originally made/commissioned for an Interior Designer's... job for a teen girl's bedroom... it was to accompany another Fifi Flowers commissioned piece of art...
I have NO IDEA how far my artwork has gone out into the Social Media realm without credit to the artist... moi... but it makes me think that I should ONLY post artwork or only allow artwork posted with Fifi Flowers written on it... HOWEVER... I really don't like how it looks...
Soooooo... I hope that in the future when people post my artwork that credit is given... I'm sure this will keep happening... le sigh... at least my artwork is going out into the world... I hope it brings SMILES...
ENJOY!

Fifi~ I totally understand.
Your work is so delightful and we all want to share it... but you deserve credit!!
So sorry Fifi , that this is happening to you. One thing is for sure, your work is one of a kind and I would always recognize it in a heartbeat. I know that's not too much comfort, but just my 2 cents. It's a shame you have to put a stamp on it, but I guess it's best to protect your hard work.
Your work is so wonderful and you should be credited! I hope that happens! I am proud of the lovely pieces I own! Hugs, Linda
HI!!
I HATE COPY CAT TYPE PEOPLE>....why can't people make up their own original stuff and Not COPY others....I call this the covet syndrome.....so many people HAVE IT....I would ALWAYS USE a water mark...not fair to you and your talent
I love the pic and I loved visiting the CHANEL Store while in Paris in April!!!!
see that pic in my recent posts back in April!!!!
Hugs,

Fifi I am so sorry to hear this! I have heard that it happens quite a bot. I know our friend Anne H Watermarks her art. Everyone deserves the credit for their own works.

Je peux comprendre votre frustration...
Gros bisous.
I hate having to watermark images too but it's just the way the world works these days. Sorry you've had issues with people using your artwork and not giving you credit. Photographers can use something called TinEye to keep an eye on our work, not sure if it works for painted pieces as well, but it's worth a try!

It is a terrible shame that people seem oblivious to the idea of giving credit where credit is due; an artist friend of mine has had similar troubles, with a particular tattoo she designed being repeatedly copied by other- shame on those tattooists!
But, alas, I think watermarking your posted images is a good move, and encourages people to buy your paintings if they REALLY want to get an unfettered view ;)
Keep up the good work! Au revoir!
That's just so wrong. It's great to share ONLY with attribution and a link back to the creator's site.
Can you add a watermark to Internet posted copies of your work?
In IPhoto I can add watermark's on my photographs...or any image that I save to my desktop. It's very easy.
Then add a commons copyright to your site (I have one on the bottom of mine).
You can also call California Lawyers for Artists and they'll advise you.
I'm so sorry this happened. You work so hard, so beautifully and prolifically and it's just not right! I've also found unattributed things of mine elsewhere...articles etc. Irksome!
Sorry..its sad to see this happen. How did you find them?
as I am a fan of yours and Coco Chanel a woman I have on the top of wish I had met list(haveyour read her bio? excellent)...are any of these for sale in any form??? Credit should always be given where credit is due...I'd be pissed too!
cheers, dana
I'm sorry, but that is just plain rude - and wrong. Shame on those posting in this manner.
I am truly sorry to hear this, Fifi. I LOVE your work and it makes me sad that you aren't being credited for it. I hope that people will realize how important it is to credit the creator. xo
