Just saw your post on Facebook about this very talented woman. I loved all of her movies. She had a very special way of getting us to hang on every word and emotion. God bless Nora Ephron. Will continue to enjoy her movies for years to come.

Such a sad loss for the world! I loved all these movies...all were great!
I just loved all of her films....and sat in a Carmel-by-the-Sea coffee shop opposite her two years ago...it was late on a Sunday and fairly empty. She was wearing her signature black and looked very healthy, and much younger than her then 69 years....but turns out she'd had this cancer for 6 years.
She impressed me as being an excellent observer and listener....her friend never stopped speaking but Nora had a kind, down-to-earth presence. It's really sad....but yes, she left an amazing body of work that will live on.
The 3 you picked are my favorites too, Fifi.
Such sad news - I didn't know. I love all this films especially Sleepless in Seattle.

Was so sad to learn this too.
I love Sleepless in Seattle, and Julie and Julia was fabulous, but my favorite of all-time, my go to at least once a week when I need great background is You've Got Mail.
Happy Wednesday.

Love them all and very sad to say farewell to a favorite writer.
Calling by as another Outdoor Wednesday participant today, it was indeed a sad loss and one I mentioned myself as well.
All good but my favorite is "You've Got Mail."
I love them all, but as you can see, I have a special place in my heart for You've Got Mail. ;) While visiting a blogging neighbor ealier, I read that we should just have a Nora Ephron movie marathon day. I couldn't agree more.

... YOU'VE GOT MAIL is my favorite ... "don't cry, Shopgirl. Don't cry." It's the whole idea of turning the unfortunate to a new life. She was the real thing, and so savvy.
She was quite talented. We certainly will miss her.

I did not hear that she passed away. I heard her on a radio interview just a couple of weeks ago. Sad.
