Trying to Balance

oui oui oui... the goal is to get back in shape... gain strength and balance AGAIN after taking a few falls lately... ugh... dog walking is NOT for moi... last time dog strolling I received a lot of bruises to my knees, left shoulder,  left facial cheek and lip... and a lot of aches... now that I have healed up... back to exercise time... my exercise of choice to regain my balance is yoga... I have a PINK Gaiam mat...

These are a couple of my favorite Gaiam DVDs... not sure these are still in print BUT I see on their site that there is a big selection... 
 Rodney Yee is my favourite...
thinking it might be time for some new yoga clothes too...

Interesting that you have written this today. I was looking for some Yoga instruction to do at home.

I, too, have difficulties with balance. Must improve!!!

Dog walking and falling?!!!
Take that dog to obedience dog whispering school!
Or get a little tote bag dog.

Oh Fifi you poor thing, I am definitely going to start too, I bought the Valerie Bertinelli DVD and i have a Yoga one too I do love my treadmill :) but I don't like to exercise :( but know I should !!!

You must have a dog like mine. He takes me for walks! Sorry about all the bruises...hope you are feeling better soon.

I tried yoga once. I really liked it, not sure why I didn't go back. Now I am trying to do some cardio. it's a long haul!

Balance is something we take for granted. I am a fan of pilates after I was left with debilitating migraines each time I completed a yoga class.
Hope you mend quickly.

Oh no!
Heal quickly! I have been doing yoga 3-4 times a week now since november 1st and I feel great! I have been doing yoga since 1997 but I kinda slacked off and now I am getting back into it, since I found an amazing studio in oak park
