Today is ma maman's birthday... time for a celebration... I've gather some of her FAVOURITE famous people to toast her... first let me tell you we started the evening with cocktails on Albert's balcony at CalTech in Pasadena, California...
Oui oui oui... hosting the cocktail party... Albert Einstein... I believe this is the formula for Cosmopolitans... or Dirty Martinis... not sure...
Appetizers were served in the courtyard of the CalTech Athenaeum (Einstein's apartment is in part of this facility too)
Performing during cocktail time was Frank Sinatra and Etta James...
now... the main course was served under the Athenaeum in their Cellar (all of the cellar photos are copyright of Susan A. Kitchen used by permission) ...

oooh la la... we had these chefs preparing FABuLOUS items for us and a SPECIAL chef stopped by with a little something for ma maman as well...

off we were to the main lounge in the LOVELY Athenaeum...
here we were treated to a performance starting with a few laughs from Bob Hope...
a dance by Leslie Caron based on her American in Paris performance...
an improv dialogue between Sean Connery who brought a flower for the birthday girl...
and Sandra Bullock who brought along her Oscar... I think her words were you can look, but not touch...
guests that tried to crash the party... Tiger Woods...
and author Vince Flynn...
notable guest were all the girls via By Invitation Only...
A FABuLOUS time for ALL!!!

Very Happy Birthday to your Mum! What a delightful party!! I touched Sandra's Golden Boy when she wasn't looking...and took a sip of Sean's Martini, too. Wanted to get near his lips...but not on them ;)
