Aaaah Poinsettias

LOVE them.... unfortunately soooo do my cats... soooo I will just have to admire these...
I was going to say let's go OUTSIDE to a Poinsettia farm... HOWEVER I found that they are grown INDOORS...
oooh the variety of colours... do YOU have a favourite colour Poinsettia?
FUN to paint too...

BTW... Did YOU know that Poinsettias were grown indoors?  Guess it makes sense since they last FOREVER indoors!!!  Okkkk enough indoor time... let's see what is going on OUTDOOR Wednesday!

ENJOY!

I keep on saying this, but you are so talented. Beautiful! I love poinsettias. Where I grew up (in Buenos Aires) they grow outside in the gardens and they get really big. So pretty. Now I live in the Rockies here in the US and they barely survive indoors...

En cette période "l'étoile de noël" est une si belle fleur... Elle symbolise le succès et apporte les voeux de joie...
gros bisous

My favorite ones are the PINK ROSE looking poinsettias, but I cant have them because they are highly toxic to pets if they eat them and my cat will eat leaves off some plants indoors. I have a hard time finding the Rose looking ones anyway.

Its neat that you visited a poinsetta farm. Such huge rows of color! Very cool post. If you have time to visit I'd appreciate it

Beautiful post! I saw the most amazing poinsettias growing in the wild on the island of Barbados..the cab driver said they are like "weeds" there... can you imagine?!

The colours were so bright and vibrant..reds, oranges...yellows.. just amazing...Happy Holidays!
