M = Montmartre sights, paintings and tablscapes

The Montmartre Hill is very famous for the Sacré-coeur Basilica and its fantastic panoramic view over Paris.

old painting when I blogged  and painted Amelie...

But it is also a gastronomical and cultural area with an authentic charm strewn with staircases and charming lamps, Montmartre is a meeting place for lovers of every era.

Discover with this website, http://www.montmartre.com/, a practical guide for wandering on the Montmartre hill, to discover good addresses for restaurants, theaters and cabarets.

another painting inspired by Amelie... this painting is SOLD but it is available as a print...

Forget the well-trodden path and open the door to another Montmartre, the last village of Paris, with its beautiful streets full of history, charm and happiness!

stroll through the village...

look at the FAB views via Butte Montmartre...

and maybe hop on the Montmartre train for a tour...

listen to a song about Montmartre (found via A Lady's Life)...

I don't know about YOU... all this sightseeing has made moi hungry... time for déjeuner (lunch)... Le Miroir (sign image below via http://www.montmartre-site.com/)...

looks like a FAB table for us...

now for some meal options...

and another option...

I hope you ENJOYED this FAB Tablescape and Montmartre Adventure during my A to Z Challenge April in Paris... remember to visit other participants via tossing it out and of course other Tablescape Thursday via Between Naps on the Porch!

See you tomorrow for some more FUN in Paris "N" and "O" style... hmmmm... what will they be.. even I'm not sure... BUT it's Paris so it must be FAB!

Oooooh and oui the paintings in this post and MORE are available via my Gallery!!!

This all makes me want to travel more and more and more!!! I love your talented "eye." Yes, you can paint wonderfully with your hands, but it's your eye and heart that truly are the visionary artists...your hands are merely the translators for the beauty you see and then share with others!
bravo!

My very favorite place to be in Paris ... lighting a candle in Sacre Coeur is beyond emotional. The mimes, the lovers, strolling endlessly, sipping wine ..... memories.

What a nice surprise.

Thanks for taking me back to that very special place. I remember those stairs and the view so well. It's been too long since I've been to Paris.

Thank you for the beautiful inspiration.

Love the paintings and the photos of Paris. You really do need to do a book of these. Your paintings would make a fun fantasy book of Paris.
