Working on turning several of my ORIGINAL ACRYLIC paintings on paper... into ACRYLIC paintings on canvas...

the beginning of transforming the above paper painting... first I draw the painting on canvas... then here I start with BLUE...

dark grey...

various colours...

black...

and black outlining and details complete the painting...

and here are some more of my paintings on 16" x 20" canvases...



I had a FABULOUS week-end painting these canvases!!! I can't wait to create more this week... off I go to paint PARIS next on canvas... and off YOU must go to visit to see more creativity via

Wonderful!~ Your work reminds me of a time when I had my kitchen very paris, chic cafe style. I have since moved and my home is a little more rustic with a modern twist...I miss this style though, it is timeless and so charming!

I like your Blue House painting in particular. The vivid washing brings out the blue. And I enjoy peeking at your technique.
Fifi, How interesting to what a painting of yours come alive with such beautiful colors. If we ever get our lake house just right, I would love for you to do a painting of it...it may take a while, we are having to redo the yard.
