Dearest Fifi:

Oh, how perfectly marvelous...a fabulous party and beautiful eyes lining the streets of Paris! I am so accustomed to eyes on me every time I am on the street and today these lovely eyes are not in honor of me but in honor of women all over the world who are heroes! And that means all women everywhere! We are all heroes and we are all so fabulously lucky to be women. A crown, the latest and greatest, a fabulous man, a castle….none of that makes a woman a hero. What is in our hearts and minds that is giving and lovely, and what we do with all of that….that is a hero. And when you are doing all of that and then you have to do a few more things but you really wish you could just take a nap but you do them because they are the right things to do…that is a hero.

Oh, Fifi! As women we have BFFs. We have each other. That is one of the best parts of being a hero!

Sincerely,

Petunia who thinks a crown certainly does make us look lovely and feel fabulous for just a moment.
