Sporty Fashions...

Let's jump into a Water Polo Game today...Women and Men both compete in Water Polo...They wear caps... I like to call them bonnets...This is the basic look and colour of an official water polo ball...Yessssss... speedo briefs are RREQUIRED to be worn during the game... however... some rules are meant to be broken...
Women in one-piece suits...I like the PINK water polo balls... however I have NOT actually seen them used in their games, but as practice balls...Additional items that can be very helpful... warm up suits... water polo season is in the Autumn... it can be chilly...Another good item... pool decks can be rough on the feet...
Probably not practical... but these would be my choice...
I guess that is why I am just a spectator! Anddddddddd I will be a spectator from now until the beginning of November! What sport are you watching? Are you attending games? Or do you hate sports and wish that I would never post about them again? You just want to sit here all day at the "Pink Cushion Cafe" (painting available), wear those cute pink sandals and sip wine...
Okkkk... if don't love sports or you do love sports... I'm sure you do LOVE winning!!! Sooooo I will do another GIVEAWAY today!!! 2 LUCKY winners will get a set of Frameable Notecards of the "Pink Cushion Cafe" or YOUR CHOICE of another one of my paintings !!! GIVEAWAY deadline is on Sunday, September 20th @ 3:00pm Pacific Time... ONE Winners will announced MONDAY, Sept 21st!!! THIS WILL BE THE LAST GIVEAWAY UNTIL NOVEMBER!
Be sure to visit other FUN Friday posts via Melissa’s Beautiful Life and Julia's Hooked on Houses and Arleen's Seasons for All at Home... AND Don't forget to visit all the PINK participants on Saturday at Beverly's How Sweet the Sound!!!

I could never play water polo, but it would be fun to watch.

I would not go practical with the shoes. :-)

I must admit that I am not at all athletic. I am not much of a spectator either. Our church ran a concession stand at Beaver Stadium for the Penn State home games. I liked to do the cheers, the waver, etc., but I don't understand football.

I don't know much about water polo, but I love water and sports, so I'm sure I'd enjoy watching and maybe playing water polo. Although I've heard things can get nasty under the water!!

Nice pic of the US Water Polo team!! There's something about those bonnets that's totally hot ;-)

Too funny. I was swimmer(way back in the day) so we played water polo every once in a while for an alternate to traditional practice. I've avoided the sport with my own children until two days, when they both attended their first swim team practice. It was at a high school pool and I hadn't been in that atmosphere for well... lets just say a long long long time. Oh the flash backs.
I'll be watching college football this Fall on TV. Go Gators... Chomp!

Wow, very educational this was for me. Love football, or is it soccer to bits!

Here in Australia we call canaries Budgerigars (Budgies for short). So when a bloke dons his Speedos, we say 'Oh no, he's wearing his Budgie Smugglers!' I much prefer my blokes in Boardies. Fun post Miss Fifi!

I think water polo is more fun for those who play it than for those who watch it.
Have a good weekend Fifi - with or without sports.

When the blossoms of summer begin to fade we can always count on Pink Saturday to bring a smile to our faces and to remind us that somewhere there are pastels and pretty things.

Thanks so much for sharing this week. I wish you sunshine and lollipops today and always.

Ooh la la FiFi!
Now the mens' water polo team has taken on a new look since the olympics. How fun is that? Love it. Those bonnets are just devine. I have to say bonnets have came a long way since the olden days. Wouldn't they laugh today? I love your precious painting today. The pinks are just beautiful FiFi. You truly have a God given talent. Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and read my pink post. I would love to show you what I did with my black boot. Country hugs sweetie, Sherry

I'd get my hiney kicked playing water polo, but I do admit it's fun to watch when I catch it. :)

I'm loving your shop! :)

Oooh thanks for a shot at those cards! I'm not much for watching sports. But oh I do love to bike absolutely anywhere I can. It's a little tough biking to the grocery store, so thank goodness the portions are so much smaller in Germany than the US!

I'm not that athletic either - treading water tires me pretty quickly! I do love the fashions though and commend all water polo players. I would love to win these notecards - so cute and sophisticated all at once!
Thank you for the giveaway :)

Yes, it's true, aside from watching (only watching) professional cycling, I would prefer to hold down the fort at the cafe while you go do the sports thing.

Bummer, I missed the cutoff for the cards...better luck next time for me!

I played water polo in PE when I was in HS...it is HARD, and one of my boyfriends was on the HS team.

Have fun watching your son...I will be watching college football since my son is on the team! My DH watches non stop and was telling me there were 15 games on TV all at once yesterday...oy.
