Football Season... Fashionable time...

Tonight (Friday) I will be heading off to another high school football game... but I will NOT be as fashionably dressed as these other football fans... however the boys on the field will be dressed nicer than these players... and thank goodness they will be wearing more protection...
Look at the lady to the left decked out to watch football... and men in TIES...
Hmmm... this is a lovely ensemble for throwing around a pigskin...
Even these post game fashions are FAB...

See more fashions... be sure to check out the referee's outfit too... via this trailer of Leatherheads... and you can rent it or buy it on DVD now!

Sooooo... do you look like Renee at football games or are you like moi... jeans and a t-shirt... perfect for tailgate parties and sitting in stands...

I'm READY for FUN!!!

Be sure to visit other FUN Friday posts via Melissa’s Beautiful Life and Julia's Hooked on Houses and Arleen's Seasons for All at Home... AND Don't forget to visit all the PINK participants on Saturday at Beverly's How Sweet the Sound!!!

Andddd don't forget... if you have a book... and you LOVE to read... you must have the PERFECT bookmark!!! Or if you have a friend that LOVES to read... Or... darn I say it... if you are looking for STOCKING STUFFERS... HANDPAINTED BOOKMARKS are FABULOUS and AVAILABLE HERE!!!

See you on Monday... Bon week-end mon amies!

P.S. I'd like to share a HEARTWARMING STORY with YOU... A REAL TOUCHDOWN!!!

Wonderful post, Fifi!

My daughter's uncles played high school football in the early 1950's. They wore leather helmets. Things improved by the late 1950's when their dad played high school football!!
I fondly remember many Friday nights, at the football field. I was in band (French Horn) and performed in lots of halftime shows, in our small town!

Friday night football was and is a big deal, in small and large towns all over the country. I am always nostalgic at this time of year. I believe football has a lot to do with my love of this time of year.

Rene certainly has the hair for that era of a movie!

I have some Harvard football game blankets that I was going to put on ebay but never did -- those would be perfect for your vignettes. Perhaps I can sell them to the movies one day! Thanks for stopping by to taste my pasta, Fifi.

Bonne journee et bon weekend.

Oh yes, definitely jeans and a tee. Unless George Clooney were to show up! Then I could be persuaded to wear something else if needs be!

Hi! I am also new here! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am in tears after watching the video. I was crying reading the words, but the video was so sweet. Those kids have no idea what an impact they had on that young man. He will NEVER forget that. So heartwarming. Ahh the ballgames! We have a Softball Tournament today, a baseball game and the Georgia Bulldog Football game tonight! Busy times, but wonderful times! Have a wonderful Saturday!

I live close to St. Joe, MO and had read the story about Matt's touchdown.....needless to say it was big news around here. It is a very heartwarming story and I'm glad that "good" news got some press over all the "bad" news that we hear. All the kids involved in that game and that moment will remember it for a lifetime.
