Next stop in Italy... Firenze!!!

Oooooh look at the beautiful BLUE skies in Florence... aka Firenze... famous for the Brunelleschi dome skyline...Lovely how that BLUE sky reflects in the Arno River...
The city of Florence is the home of Michelanglo's statue of David... the original...
The David copy outside the Palazzo Vecchio... And the BLUE METAMORPHOSIS of David also in Florence...
Another well known site... the Ponte Vecchio...Anddd my metamorphosis... painting (AVAILABLE via My Etsy Shop) of the famous bridge on the Arno...Ooh la la... Fifi loves this Italian city!!! We will tour more of the city tomorrow... and Fifi will be painting on the streets of Florence... I do hope they will accept my French flair! Come back and see moi throughout the week in various parts of Italy... VIRTUALLY of course..

Tuesday... More FUN in Firenze!
Wednesday... Outdoors in Lucca!
Thursday... Verbania for Tablescape Thursday!
Friday... Fashionable Milano!!!

Now don't forget to go to visit more Metamorphosis Monday posts over at Susan's and Blue Monday posts over at Smiling Sal's !!!

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

My brother spent three months in Florence singing the lead in the opera Othello. We stayed with him for two weeks and it was fabulous. The Arno was lower then.. it was very hot and had been really dry. Love the area.
