The top of the magnifique Duomo...
and the bottom of the Duomo... the interior of this cathedral is AMAZING... it is one of the most BEAUTIFUL places I have ever seen... it was HEAVENLY inside!!! I wish I had photos... le sigh!
All this walking... time for a little wine and some pasta prepared right in front of us in a restaurant in the Galleria...
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (info via Wikipedia) is a covered double arcade formed of two glass-vaulted arcades at right angles intersecting in an octagon; it is prominently sited on the northern side of the Piazza del Duomo in Milan, and connects to the Piazza della Scala. Named after Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of united Italy, it was originally designed in 1861 and built by Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877...

It looks like the Paris Runway!!! Oooh la la... perhaps this PINK DIOR dress is to be mine!!!

Looking at your images I felt like being there in a November raining day, I felt the smell of the air, I heard the traffic flowing over wet cobble stones, the chats of people strolling under the arcade in the Galleria. A Proustian moment.
