A little Relapse... going to my Happy place...

Last Friday turned into a BLUE day... I decided to return to the golf course... the goal was to play twice a week... my goal was shattered as was my little toe as I kicked it right it a cement object not watching my footing... I won't give you all the graphic details... I will just say that I perform a little realignment... hobbled to my car and home with my best friends... a bag of ice, pain medication and a laptop to search for blogs to cheer me up...

Soooo... I looked for my HAPPY place... and where is my HAPPY place... yesssssssss... Paris... and I found it via From the Right Back to the Left Coast... Alek's dream studio... How could this photo not inspire a drawing...
That would be METAMORPHOSED into a painting (available in my ETSY SHOP) with a BRIGHT BLUE CHEERY SKY...

Where is your HAPPY PLACE (besides home with family and friends)... WHERE would you go VIRTUALLY for a smile? Do you have a photo or link to your HAPPY place that you would love to see painted... COMMISSIONS ARE WELCOMED... email me!

I hope you ENJOYED seeing Metamorphosis of my HAPPY with BLUE skies! You can see more Metamorphosis Monday posts over at Susan's and Blue Monday posts over at Smiling Sal's !!!

Tuesday... Home Portrait winner is Revealed!
Wednesday... This blog is for the BIRDS!
Thursday... Tasty Treats and Pretty Tables!

I like seeing the process you go through in creating your fun paintings! Hope your toe is a little better, I know there's nothing the doctors can do except painkillers.

Fab painting, Fifi! My vitural happy place really isn't a place. I love searching around the blogging world for cottages that I can see inside and out. There is just something about a little cottage...

My Happy Place??? It is hard to pick one. Life is so full of wonderful places and great experiences. Today I would have to say that my happiest place is when I am laughing and enjoying my husband and kids. Its about them right now!

Oh Fifi! Sorry to hear about your toe! I'll bet you could turn even that into a fun picture!lol At least you have an excuse to not run around for a few days!!!lol That's why I don't play golf; my feet are so large I'd probably be hitting them with the club rather than the ball!!lol I know I know that's not what you did!!!! Feel better - Sincerely, Jeannette

You made a happy day for me just seeing your beautiful drawing! I love your artwork, girl. Just yesterday I posted of a very old piece of artwork that I have saved until I new exactly where to put it, and reminds me so much of your work. I posted in a hurry, and didn't find your link, but I did give you a shout out. For me, Paris, or a distant, dreamy island would be the perfect happy place.

Oww! I hate when I hurt my toes - at least it's flip flop weather. Hope you are better soon.

My happy place is a comfy chair on the back porch of a beach cottage looking out at an empty beach and listening to the waves.
