Last summer Fifi Flowers was ask to paint illustrations for a Coco Chanel quote book... Of course I said YES... LOVE working on ILLUSTRATION PROJECTS... and here are my designs that reflect Coco and Paris...

SADLY... the arranger of this book a TRULY LOVELY woman name Carolyn did not give credit anywhere in the book to any of the illustrators... but I assure you the background illustrations are painted by moi!She recently sent me 5 copies of the book... I will be keeping ONE and I will be giving ONE to my mother... sooooooooo THREE COPIES are AVAILABLE as a GIVEAWAY!!! How exciting that you got to do the illustrations for this book! I love them. (Too bad you didn't get the proper credit, though. As someone who works in publishing, that really irks me! When I work on a book project, I expect my name to appear somewhere, as I'm sure you do.)

Dearest Fifi:
Just a quick little missive to let you know I am absolutely distraught that your work has been featured in such a lovely book and you were not given any credit! Had I known this you know I would have made a few calls to a few certain someones and had it all corrected! You must share these things with me, Fifi! You put your brush to paper for these people and they should feel fortunate that you even gave their little project the time of day. I suppose Coco should consider herself lucky to have her name mentioned at all in a book of her very own quotes.
I shall request a recall on the book until proper credit is given. It has been several years since I have shaken up the literary world. I do believe today is the perfect day to remind them that I am still here..watching! Oh, it will be fun, Fifi! Sometimes there is nothing better than the sound of a quivering voice on the other end of the phone promising to right all wrongs.
I apologize for my delay in writing you. I have been out to the Hampton's for a spell but am now back in the City monitoring the Astor trial. Her son and daughter in law are either the poster children for birth control or a good example of why some species eat their young. I continue to be grateful that I was not born with a ticking biological clock.

I love Coco Chanel. I watched the movie about her life and really...it was quite sad and soooo she made a way for her self...and in the end she became rather cold.

I love the illustrations...however I think it's totally UN-COOL that they didn't give you credit somewhere in the book. How could they leave you out? Especially when the illustrations are such an important part.
