Last night we waited for you at the aux tours de notre dame...

and you never showed! There was rumors that you were having a randevú with Romain Duris and if so we forgive you!
Let me tell you what you missed out on so you can be très jaloux....The food was très magnifique! We shared beef_bourguignon ...

pommes frites...

quiche....

Seared Foie Gras with Spiced Pears....

but we passed on the escargots....

After that you would think we could eat no more, but seeing the belles pâtisseries....

and creme brulee...

and how could we not partake of a bottle of Veuve Clicquot...

We waited until dark for you, but the lights of Paris called to us and I snapped this parting shot to remember our evening of celebration....

xoxo,
rue

Mmmmm! Crepes! My very favorite!
Love the notecards...very very nice!
I read this post using my best French accent in your voice, Madame Rue.... (Is it possible to do that?) That virtual food just made my hips spread by 2 inches, by the way. It is lucky for Miss Fifi that she missed it, too- if she is watching her weight... After all, she has other agendas... Perhaps she will allow me to be entered in her give-away? Adieu, mon ami...
Sigh....
Your lovely cards make me ache for Paris!

This was just divine! Love that Rue could take a little evening off from getting Annie's room together. Just amazing the stamina you possess, Rue! And Fifi - what a tremendously exhausting job you have before you of having to select the appropriate male to star in your romantic comedy. Please know that I am available to assist you in this endeavor, should you feel overwhelmed. Oh, the demands of your fame!!!
Bonjour Mon Ami,
What are all these people talking about food, blah,blah,blah...I am talking Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp! haha! Loved the clip. Stop by and give me a little blog love.

Fifi,
I'm sorry you missed out with Rue and the others for your divine dinner....but duty calls...having been in similiar situations, I can certainly sympathize with how you must be feeling... all the decisions that come with the selection of a leading man for your new and upcoming movie. Ah...what a life you live Fifi.
Kris
Well that selfish Rue! Didn't she at least pack up some of that lovely food into doggy bags and save for you? (Poodle bags?) She could have at least saved the escargot for moi.
I always smile when I click on your blog, knowing I'm going to be charmed. And I am never disappointed. Your paintings are fantastic!
All the best... Cass
Foie Gras and Creme Brulee... Yum!
Such a cute post ladies :)
Madame Fifi,
J'adore vos cartes postales !
