Dearest Fifi:
What beautiful photographs of Paris. Thank you for reminding me of so many lovely French encounters. I do remember those stairs. I hurried up them late one night on the arm of Francois after a splendid evening of cuisine and opera. In our dash to get return to his flat as he so wanted me to see his...well, I can't remember exactly what he wanted me to see but I do remember what I actually saw, I lost a fabulous little red sling back! I didn't stop to retrieve it! I threw caution to the wind, Fifi, and continued on, forgetting about the little work of art. I must say, the next morning I desperately missed that lovely little shoe and realized that sometimes the price of the fantasy of the moment is not worth what one has lost to get to said fantasy. I still think of that little shoe. As for Francois? Well, quite honestly, I have not thought of him in years!
Sincerely,
Petunia who has learned that a pair of shoes can outlast...many things.
i LOVE your painting and the photos of nights in PARIS...ummmm. When I win the lottery, I am going to Paris !!

The photos speak a 1,000 words- simply beautiful!!
I loved Paris when I visited a few years back Fifi. I have a pic of my daughter and I laying on the ground under the Eiffel Tower where we just gazed up for about two hours and enjoyed the scenery with the sky above us. It was breathtaking! We didn't walk up it, the line was so long., but I really think laying there under the sky was something I'll never forget. I also have a pic of me in a garden near it, with the tower in the background. Totally my favorite! Your pic of the romantic kissing couple is absolutely adorable! I'll have to keep that one in my thoughts for a future purchase! For sure! LOVE your talent! ~CC Catherine

J'adore your blog and je t'aime your artwork! You're very talented. Je t'aime Paris (just like the movie) and if I could only visit once a year, I would. For now, I'll keep checking through your eyes.

HAPPY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY FIFI,
I SO REMEMBER THE NIGHT PETUNIA LOST HER LITTLE RED SLING BACK. I WAS STANDING JUST OUT OF THE LIGHT WHEN SHE RAN BY. THE NIGHT AIR WAS FOGGED WITH THE ROMANCE OF THE EVENING. I PICKED UP HER RED SLING BACK AND SAID A PRAYER OVER IT. I SET IT DOWN IN FRONT OF THE PICTURE LEANING AGAINST THE WORN BRICK OF THE FLAT ON COBBLE STREET. I TIGHTENED THE BELT OF MY TRENCH COAT AND KNEW THE JOURNEY OF THAT PAINTING AND THAT RED SLING BACK WOULD SHOW UP ON YOUR DOOR STEP FIFI.
WELCOME HOME PETUNIA.....
HUGS FIFI
