My plans to travel abroad have been delayed due to several unscheduled inconveniences. Addressing them is unavoidable or I most certainly would! And so, it would seem, we are both staying state side and since you have not seen me in so long, well, I know the other day we got together but, Fifi, that just seems like ages ago, I think we should meet for a lovely luncheon at the Bel Air Hotel. I can catch you up on everything that is going on in my life and we can talk about you, too!
Your latest pieces are just fabulous, Fifi! I think I see one or two that must be added to my very extensive collection. I will have my people call yours.

If it makes you feel any better, I, too, am unable to travel at this time...just too many obligations!
I will dream of Paris with you as I peruse my many French decorating books and daydream of being in the midst of the most beautiful chateaus in the countryside.
Do not fret, however, we will soon be able to visit our beloved city...very soon!
Do you think Petunia would mind if I invited myself to lunch with you at the Bel Air? that way we could all catch up and cheer each other on!

Your paintings are just beautiful and make me long for Paris too. We checked online the other day and a round trip ticket from Charlotte NC to Paris was only $532.00. Now if I only had an extra $532 lying around!

Loved your paintings! I have been looking at french cross stitch sites...some of them cross stitch french pictures (not as detailed as the paintings) but I love the look of outdoor pastry restaurants, or coffee places....your paintings really captured the feel and I love it. Hope your week is wonderful!
