Dearest Fifi:

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely weekend pictures. I'm so happy that people were out in the world doing things happy people do while I was in a terrible state of distress! It was all quite frightening! I might have fainted from the stress of it all but Stefano, my dear sweet Stefano, was by my side and did his very best to keep me strong. My crown went missing, Fifi! I thought Violet might have finally had her way and snatched it! But, it turned out it was simply misplaced and might have fallen off during a lovely tryst with a god-like Greek who assured me he was from a log line of Greek statues! And I assure you, Fifi, there was statue running through all his veins! Oh my....*blush*

But, I digress. I so desperately apologize for missing your party in the Bahamas! I assure you, your invitation arrived in a timely manner and my tiny pink bikini was packed for our little sojourn but, Fifi, I know you know how the sorted events of life can hold one up. I do hope your party was a success without my presence. I promise to stay more focused in the future.

Sincerely,
Petunia who has never before missed a party due the beautiful music of an Apollo landing.

Ah, what a glorious day you have shared.

It was cold and raining here all weekend, and we woke this morning to snow. They have declared a severe weather day where I work, and I will happily stay at home.

Fifi, I'm detoxing so the fishing line is so appropriate as I'm able to eat fish. Made me laugh that so often there is some connection between our posts. Lovely pics.

I love how you take us along on your wonderful outings. More snow here this morning- but it's really pretty outside.

Wonderful pictures...{sigh}. I wish I had spent the weekend sailing. Mine was good, but no sailing or golf involved.

So there you are in my part of the world. Were you on vacation or do you live in So.Cal. too? It's not real often that we can see Mt. Baldy. I love the clear winter days. Looks like you had a fun time!

Happy Monday Fifi, I think Petunia has really finally lost her mind. Instead of having sessions with the greek gods, she should be seeing a professional, ahem, therapist?

Ohhhh Fifi,

This brought back so many memories! I used to go with my girlfriends when I was in high school to Newport Harbor, rent hobie cats and sail around Balboa Island. So much fun...great pictures.

We would have love to have had you at the wine tasting! We giggled lots!
