Dear Fifi:

Thank you so much for inviting me to your party and Paris and allowing me to be your house guest, although I DOUBT that's gonna happen again. I love the little painting of..er..well, of all my things that I left behind on that damn table when someone...I think it was "Please Sir", only because I was thinking really hard "Please Sir, don't come in here NOW!" but it could have been someone else...interrupted my lovely encounter with (I sure wish I could remember or even pronounce his name which I cannot so he'll be referred as my French Pastry from here on out) French Pastry. It all started out innocently enough. A little bubbly, a few cookies, a bit of small talk, well, actually none of that cause I can't speak French but, communication was happening! And that's when I just had to show him that my shoes matched my lovely little slip. *sigh* Maybe you are wondering how my lovely little slip ended up on the table or my shoes tossed aside under it? The thing is, I do not know! I was in champagne heaven with the tastiest French Pastry my eyes had ever seen so what's a girl to do in that situation? But then it happened! The front door opened! Someone was coming! I grabbed one more cookie and we dove out the closest window. Thank goodness Paris has all those lovely balconies or I fear this story might have had a very bad ending. I ate my cookie. We watched the
sunrise. It was not the sorted affair I was hoping for but I expect to return to Paris and will try again, maybe with Mr. Eclair! Oh, how I love him already!

So, Fifi, I apologize for leaving a little mess for you to find..and paint! And one more thing...if you find a little crown...umm..under your bed or something? It's mine. Please return it to me quickly! I feel so naked without it. Speaking of naked...Hmmm, I think that's another confession altogether and I try to limit myself to one a day.

Your friend,

Petunia who promises to behave better next time.

Oh my! You've caught us!!! I didn't think you'd mind...I invited my sweet, handsome hubby to join me...so he did! I've been looking for those shoes and my silk lingerie...I asked him to check and make sure he got everything...darn! I guess if you want it done right....ha, ha!
Would you be a dear and bring my things back with you next time...thanks, sweetie!

As far as your little "habit"...I wouldn't exactly call it stealing...it's more like borrowing inspiration! I love what you did with my chair!...how much?

All the rest of your inspirations are lovely, too! You're such a talented gal! I'm so glad we're friends!
;-D

Your paintings are delightful and always bring a smile to me...love the whimsy and proud to have some as my own!

Wow...did Petunia ever have a great time at the party...I wondered where she ended up when she and ...that gorgeous hunk who was the envy of all around jumped out of the closet window. I am so glad she left her slip becuase it's mine now and it fits just perfectly...unfortunately her shoes did not...I hope she finds her crown!

Blessings...

Petunia said...

FIFI! Renae took my slip! How rude is that?! And I really liked her when I met her at your party.

Violet said...

Hi Fifi,

I was not an invited guest to your party in Paris, but I tagged along with someone who was.

First, I must tell you that both Petunia and Renae, are stealing MY slip. You see, Petunia doesn't know that the person who walked in on them was me and my boy toy. A gorgeous hunk, with golden brown wavy hair and gorgeous green eyes. We were trying to find a nice romantic place in which to have a little fun and somehow ended up at your place. I saw there was a slip there and realized this is the spot that people like to have these type of special encounters. So I took that slip with me and left mine behind.

I didn't see a crown though, I would have taken that too!

Petunia said...

Fifi: I think many of your kind were invited to that party of yours. Thieves! BUT! I think that means Renae got Violet's stinky slip. *giggle* Sorry for saying something bad about, Renae. *sweet smile* BFF's?
