Snail Mail arrived yesterday... I had to share... love these items... aren't they interesting...
I thought it would be FUN to design a room around these items... would they all go together? should they be in a bedroom... living room... dining room? What do you think? I would love to hear all of your ideas before I paint this VIRTUAL ROOM. Or maybe you can design a room around these items too. If you want to play along... I will post mine and yours... in ONE WEEK (November 20th)... or if sadly no one wishes to play... I will post mine all alone... sigh!

I have just received one of Fifi's framed pictures. This is the dahlias she had interpreted from a picture in Aurea's blog.

I am placing it next to the peonies that I had purchased in August. A lovely pair.
I really recommend this fresh creative designer who caricatures real life images with taste and color.

Love the Asian things. I think a lounge or living room. I have a friend who did her living room with an Asian flair and I loved it. The Reds, Blacks and that jade green capture my eye.

As far as the great porceline...I would put them in an outdoor room...covered with a huge palapa or palm thatch roof. Lots of Bali looking teak furniture...and palms and heliconias in big pots!
