Sorry... no time to paint a posting... I was editing son's history report... and solving his drawing dilemma... he needed to draw the Old State House in beautiful Boston... He said "I can't"... I said then trace it... and... voila...
Of course... he waited until the last minute... so I had NOTHING to post... so here I am at 1:46am using his work... THANK YOU, my darling son!
Can you relate? Help your kids with projects? Ever had your parents help you with projects?
Of course I helped my daughter. I think parents do all the big assignments or help greatly anyway. My mother was a teacher and used to guide me but would always make me do them myself Arghh!!!
Of course I think your son's final project is a masterpiece. Hope you get some sleep and you both get an A on this project. It would be well deserved!!!
Yes I think all parents help their kids. I think Teachers do it so the parents will get involved with their kids schooling. Sounds good anyway. :)) You helped but he did. Good job too.
What child doesn't say he "can't" do it? My son, use to say "I can't draw". Now, when a child says "he can't do something" it is usually because they have either waited until the last minute to finish in time or they are hoping a little "feel sorry for me" will get you to do the majority of it for them. I think you handled it magnificently Fifi! Just the right amount of help with the majority of the project being completed by him. Great Job!! (My opinion)
Nice work, Mere Fifi! :-) The only thing I can remember my parents helping me with...my dad helped me with math. He was an accountant and just SO into it, LOL!

Oh goodness...I can remember my mom helping me with projects like this!
What a great finished product! My six year old wants to do everything all by himself, so far....
As we the parents we have the same problems and difficulties with our children.
Oh, yes, can I can relate. :) I love what you did here - I'm so gonna copy this with my son!
Fifi,
Are you kidding, I think it's on page 3 paragraph 4 in the parents manual. Why they wait until the last minute , you got me !!!
Great picture I am sure he'll get an A :)
