Hello Fifi, I am so happy with the picture I bought from your collection of acrylic painitngs that I have featured it - and the other painitngs on my wall - in my last post. Thank you again!
Hi!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I love to decorate for fall then add halloween things too then move to the next season!
I love autumn colours, tastes (pumpkin, chestnuts...), clothes...etc but I really, really do not like the shorter days, cold & wet weather that inevitably accompanies this time of year..:)
Fall is my favorite time of year. I began putting a few things out a couple weeks ago, when we were having a guest spend a few days with us. I've added more since then.
This is a lovely post.
Once I get over the blues that summer has gone, way too fast, I might add, I adore the fall. I love the pumpkins, squashes, the colors...what's not to love.
Oh I agree with 'here there and elsewhere's' about the cold, wet and short days of Fall/winter, but I love this post, and that outfit you featured.
YAY for fall - leaves and apples - I love it all!
I love fall! The cool air, the colorful leaves, apple cider, football, sweaters, boots, hayrides...love fall!!
I love the Fall, but here in the South it takes soooooooo long to get here! But it's worth the wait especially the first time you feel that cool breeze blowing across your face!
Happy Fall nesting! yay! I love fall. But you knew that. I also love that little painting you made of Winston. Do I have permission to use it on my site? I am also thinking that it would be super cute to have you put them on notecards for me. Email me if you do that sort of thing. That would make a great gift for my daughter, she'd love them.
Happy day,
Melissa
Hi Fifi, great idea for fall, which has already arrived here in mid Sweden. The daylight changes from long bright days to a minimum of 6hrs around in Dec-Jan and yes we certainly need to add warmth and some colourings into our homes.
Can't wait for your results, Ingela
Autumn has pretty much already arrived here in England too. On the one hand I'm ready for boots, sweaters, jackets, hats, scarves, leaves and apples, and on the other I crave the warm sea and bright summer sunshine of the Med. You can't win...

I seem to be overly warm these days (hoping it's not early menopause I'm 41 this year) so the cooler days are truly a blessing. I also love to decorate for fall. It's my absolute favorite time of year for crafting too! I am continually coming up with new ideas, too many to make so I have to write them down for next year! LOL
hi, FiFi :)
that red thingabob you asked about behind the pumpkins on my blog is a large piece of metal with fleur-de-lis impressed upon the back...I use it as a fireplace screen when the fireplace isn't in use :)
...off to look around your blog...
PS. I forgot to say THANK YOU for spreading the word about fall nesting... :-) Thanks!
What a cozy post! Did you paint the fall painting at the top? I love it! :)
Yes, I'm ready for fall. I was a bit startled by how cold our house was after work today (brrr!) but I am ready all the same. But as for November with all the sleet, cold, wind, and darkness? Uhhhh... :(
