Lighting tips for a living room... 
Lighting tips applied to a similar room... better location... more colour... little different opinion about lighting...
I like the lamps on either side of the sofa... I do not care for "up stand" lighting in the corner... the mirror will help reflect light into the room... I felt like a painting instead of a bookcase for my mini-accent lighting... love the over head hanging pendant... with the addition to some recessed lighting on a dimmer switch OF COURSE!Ooh la la!... I ADORE painting and decorating rooms and bringing it to all of YOU online! (better late than never)

Your paintings do brighten the days, for sure. :) I saw this book the other day at Barnes & Noble. There are some really good tips inside - I may have to just break down and buy it. Hope you have a good Friday!

Love your idea of the room over the books. Your art work ALWAYS lights up my day! I am dog tired right now,but had to come and see what you painted. I can go collapse with a smile now. :))
Oh and that book looks interesting. I love decorating magazines and books altho I am not a decorator. go figure.
