Time for a Coffee Chat...

Let's pop over to London Calling... she found this lovely kitchen... I thought it looked like a good place for a cup of coffee or two...
Here's a little coffee art on the walls... And another one inspired by Pia Jane Bijkerk ...

This next art is what I sent to 3 winners of my Pay It Forward post... All of them received a handpainted bookmark and a set of matching notecards. And I received a GREAT feeling of giving something to someone for no reason but to bring a smile to someone's face...

To Ronda of Ronda's Rants... "Beachside Resort"

To Rae of My Life on the East Coast "Red Stripes and Anemones"

To Camille of Rtemis "Overalls in the Garden"

When I posted I was going to Pay It Forward... I received many emails and comments from people saying they wished they were one of the 3 people to participate. They also said that even though they were not one of the chosen ones that they too would Pay It Forward anyway... Which brings me to the reason why I chose to do a "coffee chat" post today... Here is a follow up email of what one of my regular blog visitors did...

"I wanted to let you know I went to Dunkin Dounuts and I paid for the gals coffee in the car behind me.....I made sure to tell the clerk that I was not some weirdo that I was "Paying it forward" like the movie and to please tell the girl she must do the same sometime.... What fun......thanks for this post !! Kathy :)"

A few you said you were going to Pay It Forward... Did you? If so, what did you do? And anyone else who has Paid It Forward... please share!

It was so much fun to come home Saturday afternoon to your package! Thank you, thank you! It's so wonderful having your beautiful painting to look at each time I pick up my book to read! And I have already used my notecards! I sent a note to my Great-Aunt and my Grandmother!

I will be posting my Pay it Forward post later this week!!

after seeing lots of talented artists, i have managed to pick up my paint brush again but slow progress though.
oh, i have tried the Loccitane hand cream before too. my sis recommended it but it gave me clammy hands too so i had to give it up. however, i am digging loccitane soaps though, esp rose and verbena.

More wonderful drawing/paintings. Feel like I am sitting at that table having some Tea. Which would be good about now since its been a busy day. :)
I have done pay it forwards for years. Sometimes you just know someone needs something and you wont see them again and it really isnt much you do but it is a BIG help to them so I help out and say.. pay it forward. It is a good feeling.
One time was in CA years ago. Some young man ran out of gas and forgot his wallet. I saw him searching. He was bummed and had been surfing and needed enough to get home, wich wasnt far actually. I said I would help him out. He would only take enough to get home, not even a dollar..Course Gas was much cheaper then. :)) but he was so thankful.

Hi Fifi,
I wish my kitchen looked like your first painting.

I love your inspiration and better get busy Paying it Forward myself.

The last time we did, my daughter and I paid the toll for the car behind us at the toll gate, but it's been months. I'm doing errands tomorrow, so I'll be sure to set something in motion ;)

Lovely paintings as usual... I paid it forward on Friday at the beach. As I came out of the bath-house I overheard a woman with three young daughters lamenting that the change machine was broken and they had no quarters for the shower. I had some change left in my shower kit so I gave her 4 quarters and when she went on and on about it I just said "no problem, just do the same for someone else sometime soon." And I really think she will, I think she saw the value in it for her girls.
