From the Tuscan Studio...

Ciao... il buono giorno... I give you a day in Tuscany....

A lovely little Tuscan village... great for shopping, eating, drinking, laughing... and gelato... whatever you do... don't end up singing in the fountain... it draws a crowd... unless it is attention you seek... if you wish for a relaxation and peace...

This villa in the countryside is what you are looking for... smell the flowers, taste the grapes... bask in the warmth of the sun...
Would you to follow me... come in... don't be shy... the doors open...

You may spend some time in the sitting room... cool evening... a fire...

Here's where you can stay... nice guest room... view into the vineyard...

Are you hungry... we can put together a light meal... some wine... some olives... delicious...

Sit down... taste all these wonderful morsels... laughter... good conversation... aah...

Shall we adjourn to the comfort of the lounge... settle in to the comfy furniture... how was your day... have you enjoy your day Under the Tuscan Sun?

From my dreamy Tuscan studio I painted this day for you... Many asked for painting based on...

Ringraziarla per visitare... I'm enjoying the Tuscan surroundings so much... I've decided... I'm not coming back til Monday... ENJOY... oh, yes the paintings are available... just email me... Arrivederci gli amici la vedono presto!

ahhhh now I can see the poster. My favorite movie.. well one of them. :)
You should do some paintings from Out of Africa. There's some lovely scenes of house, deck chairs and tent camping ideas in that movie that fits your style too.
I worked out some problems with my painting in my sketch book last night. Thanks for nice comment. When my neck feels better I will work on the painting itself. I too am losing patience with Oils. You whip out yours so quick and it looks like more fun.:)

I have been working on these all week long... yes, acrylic painting is much faster.

Ouf of Africa... hmmm... I have never seen the movie... maybe I will rent it and see if it moves me to pick up my paint brush.

OMG Fifi, It is soooo good. I have found some that didnt like it as it moves slow but it has so much romance of country, home and style, words in it to me.... and Robert Redford ain't bad on the eyes either. :)

Love these! All of the scenes are beautiful.

I just unveiled the blog button you painted for me over at Hooked on Houses. Thanks again for all your help, and for putting up with my bouts of indecision. -Julia :-)

I was trying to decide which was my favorite, but when I reached the end - I knew it just had to be the whole villa, room by room!

Loved the movie and this is just so perfect (especially the fountain).

Arrivederci per ora (I really hope that translated correctly ;) or Until Lundi!

Oh! You're in Tuscany! I'm green with envy. I once spent an entire summer there - too many years ago. And how prolific your painting while there. Incredible images - it brings me back - have fun!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Thanks, I needed a vacation.

The threat of having my blog deleted has totally freaked me out. You mentioned backing it up. How does one do that?

Your first one is my favorite, but all are great! Thank you for stopping by yesterday. Hope all is well.
Happy painting today!

LOL - no wonder you have so much time to paint! In that case, pack your bag. I'll swing by around 5pm and we'll head to the airport for a girl's week in Italy. Feel free to invite anyone you'd like along!

By the way...for some reason I thought I had aready added you, but found I had not (to my blog links) Such is the mind of a scattered working mom. I am doing so TODAY! Hope that's OK!

Yes, the street scape painting with the fountain is positively divine Fifi!

One of our PB TV stations is running a series of Audrey Hepburn's movies & I managed to catch the wonderful Breakfast at Tiffany's late on Sat. night. I really can see so many of those scenes recreated Fifi style!!
