Fantasy Cruise Getaway...

Awwww... a floating room with a view... inspiration photos via The Style File... Paintings by moi...

I have no desire whatsoever to take a trip on an oceanliner... but a cruise along a canal... where I can see land on both sides... that sounds charming!

A personal chef to satisfy my every culinary desire...
Paintings are available... pricing per painting... $50 + $10 shipping or matted & framed $100 + $15 shipping EMAIL ME

How do you feel about cruising... love it, hate it... no desire? Canal or river... cruising in Paris, South of France, Amsterdam to the Black Sea or along the Nile?

Hello friend! I like your paintings so much!!! I had a cruising along the Nile many years ago...it was great!!! I'd like to do a canal cruise in South of France too! Wonderful idea!
Have a nice week end!

Fifi, I've never been on a cruise but I'm going to try it once and see how it goes. Now, my sweetie has a sailboat and a dream of sailing the world, yikes!

Love your artwork and your blog, am so glad I stopped by. :-)

I'm with you; canal maybe, but not the ocean. Lovely paintings. Happy Weekend.

I have never been on an ocean cruise, and don't think I would like it too much. However I love how you have painted and planted the idea of a canal cruise in my head... that would be lovely!

Last summer a few of our friends took a cruise up to Alaska (they had a ball by the way) , we declined, I have a real fear of the water. I am with you though as long as I can see land I am okay !!!

Great post,
Kathy :)

I've been on one ocean cruise and it lacked charm. I'd rather do the canal or river cruise, maybe down the Danube...

I wouldnt want to go on a cruise ship but like you if I can see land then that is fun to me. My Dad had a house boat years ago and we would go crusing in Newport Harbor and had so much fun. sometimes out in the ocean along the shore.
I love your work. Guess I have said that before but your imagination is mind boggling. I dont know how you see what you see when looking at the photos, but it is fun to see the before and after pictures. I'd like to be inside your head to see how you do come up with ideas...They look like so much fun to do. :):)

Thanks for visiting my blog.I am new at this and never sure how to comment back - if I should do it on my site or yours - So, I did it on both! You know there are always kitties needing homes, you should get one! But, beware because they are like potato chips....you can't have just one!
Serioulsy though, my animals do add so much joy to my life.
Thanks for stopping by. I went to visit your site too. Loved your paintings. You should do a calico kitty! Take care, Tracey

Friends here in Australia have just returned from a week's canal boat trip in France & loved it! The highlight for them was having a chef on boat as you mentioned & having all his beautiful food available constantly.

What about those amazing boats on the lakes near Kashmir in the Srinigar region of Northern India with the Himalayas as a backdrop. Not the safest place in the world these days, but still one of the most interesting.

Girl, I just LOVE the picture of the room, with the darling chandelier and the mirror. Your mirror is, well, fabulous! It reminds me of the fact that I need a vacation (sans my one year old!!!) very very badly! :)

This is the first time that the painting looks better than the original. Bravo.
