You can see I reversed the wall and table patterns… and here is the process…

I LOVE filming… kind of feels like I’m doing another thing I went to school for… I’m what doing production design or filming a feature film but I paint scenes and I film the process… laugh out loud… yes, I went to film school but I did not finish…

Do what you like to do… be creative… be happy! Make others happy too!

Sunday Art Studio

I painted my sketch and I looked at my art studio for inspiration…

Here is the painting process…

I film right on the black mat on my desk… I have bendable tripod attached to my desk and when needed a ring light to light the space… fun! I LOVE my little art studio loft…  it’s where I make art and write books most of the time…

Next step is figuring out what colors to use… I often look at my older paintings…

Flowers Pottery Bleu Chair

How can you not love Fall or Autumn… pretty pumpkins… leaves changing color (slowly in the Los Angeles area)… cooler weather but not too cool (in Southern California)… I adore it so much… maybe I should write a book all about a FALL/AUTUMN ROMANCE… hmmm for now I will paint it…

Vivaldi’s Autumn is what I used with my Instagram REEL… I wish I could add music to these videos…

Tuscan Inspiration

Writing… I love visual inspiration… my main female character, Gianna, is from Florence, Italy and she speaks about home in her “little” village of Firenze and family traditions… getting into the Italian mode, I rewatched Under the Tuscan Sun—not the same location, but in the Tuscany region… andddddd maybe my character makes people think of that movie… so I found some photos on Pinterest (it’s such a good source of inspiration)…

I can’t wait for you to hear Gianna Marinelli’s stories in my upcoming romance novel WRONGED…

Pillows Flowers Eiffel Paris

Sometimes you just have to paint decor in a Paris apartment… an Eiffel Tower view isn’t a bad thing either… I’ve only been to Paris once many years ago but it is a part of me now… I’ve never forgotten the experience of roaming streets filled with so much history… good vibes… I will feel them forever…

Watch me paint…

Ooh la la… if only I had a real Paris apartment… or maybe I just need to make a return visit to the City…

Writing WRONGED in a Café

Combining my art and book world in a painting… I am currently writing a contemporary romance titled WRONGED & Foolish… part of a Foolish Hearts standalone series, this is book 4… I’m hoping to publish it before the end of the year… Anddddd today there was an art challenge of a mug on a book: PERFECT! Title the book my work in progress…

Here is the photo prompt…

I didn’t add the cat… it makes me sad since I just lost my kitty Monsieur Matisse 🐈‍⬛ recently… I really miss him a lot… and I miss having a cat in our house… I’m such a cat person…  I need another writing buddy in my studio besides my cute dog Mademoiselle Lulu… don’t tell her, but she’s a little stinky after exploring in the garden… she doesn’t groom herself like cats do… LOL

Off to continue writing… more information soon and maybe an excerpt on my book publishing site Champagne Girl Studio…

You can see the items that caught my attention because I focused on them rather than doing an exact copy of the photo… I’m not sure I like my sketchbook creation BUT I adore my chair pattern and will use it in the future…
